About the role

Maintain and support server, storage, and directory infrastructure — ensuring system uptime, security patching, and smooth IT operations across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Administer Windows Server / Linux environments and virtualised infrastructure Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP Deploy and maintain servers, storage systems, and virtualisation platforms Perform routine patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation Monitor system health and respond to alerts to prevent downtime Manage backup and recovery systems and conduct regular restoration tests Maintain accurate system documentation and asset registers Requirements Role Type Remote Employment Full-Time or Part-Time Location 100% Remote Experience 3–5 years in systems administration Education Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field; MCSA / Linux+ preferred Key Skills Technical breadth, reliability, proactive monitoring, documentation discipline Tools / Platforms Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware / Hyper-V, Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS), Veeam, SCCM Details
